Gary Hobbs signed with Freddie Records earlier this year and the Tejano icon is ready to release his highly-anticipated debut album with the legendary record label. “El Borrado del Eagle Pass” shared details on the album and much more in an interview with Tejano Nation radio affiliate La Voz 93.3 FM in Abilene, Texas.

The singer mentioned he wrote six to seven songs for the album which contains 12 tracks and will feature his signature sound.

“But music is always changing, something that we have been putting down on the last CD, and into this one, our cumbias are very Gary Hobbish slash maybe Reggaeton lite and that’s sounding really well for us,” said Hobbs. “I’m liking it so much. We have a couple of cumbias like that, of course, we have our Tejano stuff…we’re pumped.”
