Liz Garcia teases third album with new single ‘Te Esperé’

San Antonio singer-songwriter Liz Garcia has dropped her second single from her upcoming third album, Pisando Fuerte. The prolific artist has been busy in the studio since winning Best New Female Artist at last year’s Tejano Music Awards

“Te Esperé” is an upbeat accordion-driven interpretation of the original Jesse & Joy mellow acoustic ballad, which happens to be one of Garcia’s favorite tunes. In addition to the accordion, the track features innovative rhythmic breaks to complement its strong ranchera beat.

Last fall, Garcia released the lead single from Pisando Fuerte, “Me Dejaste,” which has been on rotation on Tejano stations from coast to coast ever since. Pisando Fuerte is due out this fall, and fans can expect to hear more original tunes from Garcia, as well as a few covers with new twists like “Te Espere.”

Pisando Fuerte is the third album for Garcia, whose first two releases, Habia Una Vez… and Una Estrella, earned her multiple awards and made her a fan favorite. In June, she organized a teddy bear drive for kids affected by the tragedy in Uvalde and also performed at several benefits for the victims.

“Te Esperé” is now available on all streaming platforms. Be sure to request it on your favorite stations and keep up with Liz Garcia on all her social media accounts.
